Its Friday – Fabulous Freebie Friday!

Yes, its already Friday in the UK and I am calling it fabulous Freebie Friday…..but more of that later!

This week I got the images from Nathan’s mini photo shoot with Philip Fearnley of Capture Photography in Sowerby Bridge.

We had been working with Philip on a Bonny Baby competition at work and I took the oportunity to pop Nathan in front of the camera while he was setting up and getting his lighting sorted out.

The pics were rattled off in a very few minutes – no long studio session – just natural and spontaneous
To say I am delighted with the results is an understatement.

My baby is so grown up I can’t believe it.  Aged 11, he’s already taller than me and taking the same size shoes as his  Dad

So of course I had to scrap some of the results and I’ve been showing them off to anyone who will look at them since Monday and now its your turn!!

The electric guitar was his birthday pressie and he was sooo reluctant to take it along but I’m glad I managed to persuade him otherwise

Live laugh love

The page was scrapped with my Creme de la Creme Kit and I really love the way it turned out.

Nathan is one cool dude!

This page was done with elements of several kits – the zebra mask is from Animal Magic Zebra Masks (unsurprisingly!) and the hint of pink to match his t shirt comes from Pinkadink Simply Embelishments with the wordart created from a style in my ever growing digital designer stash….oh, and the swirls are from Cupcake Heaven – and I deliberately left them a different shade of pink to add a little depth and tone.

Anyway, I’m rattling on about my gorgeous son and what you are really wanting is the freebie!!!

So here it is, its another quickpage for you made by Ann – yes, I did promise more of the same last week!

This one is called Beautiful Dreamer and is made mainly from Celeste kit with the separate Beautiful Dreamer which you can get individually or as part of a combo kit with 5 other matching worarts

I think you’ll agree its another beauty and a great one to add to your collection.  I started out my own stash with quickpage freebies so I know just how useful they can be when you are in a hurry.

I hope you enjoy using this one – please leave me some love as it’s great to get your comments

Happy Friday and happy scrapping

Dream, Hope Pray and a Quickpage Freebie

I don’t really know where this layout came from – it just kind of popped into my head but I like the way it turned out – what do you think?  I made it with the Creme de la Creme Pastels Kit

Creme de la Creme was originally in the pipeline as a wedding kit – think I mentioned that in my last post.  As the kit came together I realised that the colour were a distraction from the monochrome beauty of the kit and I put them to one side.

They actually became a mini kit in themselves which is how Creme de la Creme Pastels was born.

As well as a dozen pastel papers there are 10 wordarts to match the original kit and some golden embellishments to pull everything together.

Of course all the elements complement their parent kit perfectly as you can see in the layouts using both kits.

But where’s the freebie I here you ask??!

well, I saved the best for last………

Here it is – it’s a gorgeous quick page made for you by Ann – please hop over to her blog and leave her some love!

I think you could use this page for just about any occasion – all the paper strips are simply perfect for your journalling.

Thanks for this gorgeous page Ann x

Enjoy your freebie

Happy Scrapping & Happy Valentines

Creme de la Creme – such a versatile Digital Scrapbooking kit

After all the vivid colours of Celeste and Seraphina my latest kit is a celebration of all things calm and subtle.

I wanted to see just what was possible using only one colour and the result is a tone on tone Mega kit in rich shades of vanilla and cream

Hence the name, Creme de la Creme.

To be honest it started out as a wedding kit but  quickly realised that it was perfect for just about any occasion from new babies to heritage and vintage layouts

The subtle cream shades work with just about any colour picture and that means that the picture is the feature.

There are a whole bunch of wordarts included too – simple 1 word versions to use alone or combine in phrases

I’m feeling particularly smug about how it looks with black and white or sepia pictures as I know this will appeal to all those of you who are tracing and recording your family history.

My creative team have really excelled themselves and their layouts are truly beautiful.  Did I ever tell you it makes my hear sing to see my kit used with real photos and marking special events?  Well if I didn’t I should have…..

And if the budget is a little tight at this time of year here are a couple of options for you.  Firstly my kits are all cheaper if you buy them direct from me in my Facebook Boutique.

Alternatively you can enter my latest Facebook competition and win yourself a copy!

This week there will be 3 lucky winners who can each chose their own prize – to enter just tell me which kit you’d like to win and post it on your own FB page – simples.  There are other bonus entries available too and you can even up your chances by entering each day.

Hope I’ve been able to inspire you to create a page or two this weekend

Happy Scrapping
