I used to be able to sleep on a washing line until my son was born 10 years ago.
Sad to say, since then I’ve found it more and more difficult to both drop off to sleep and to stay asleep.
Many’s the time I’ve seen in every hour between midnight and 6am then got up at 7am and gone to work.
I’m not one of those people who can stay in bed and hope to drop off again, and the thought of taking sleeping pills really doesn’t appeal.
So I tend to use the time to scrap and design in peace while the rest of the house is quiet. In fact I do some of my best work when my brain is in neutral and there are no distractions apart from the dawn chorus.
Tonight I’m working on a portfolio for my friend Sarah Gallagher who’s a photographer here in West Yorkshire. She recently worked an Asian wedding and the pictures are stunning – I’ll link through to the album for you once its done- though that may be a while as its taking an age to upload her high res files so I doubt it will be finished before the weekend!
After that I’ll be working on a special album for my Mum who is 80 years young in October.
Thats in between getting my store stocked in My Memories – I’ve loaded 50 products so far so watch out for new ones popping up over the next few days. My brand new Totally Tropical Collection will be hitting the shelves very shortly
